Cosmo chats with style and shopping savvy, Jan Shutt of Sunday Best

We’re here for the final day of Pure and to see out the show in style we’re flirting with fashion in every form.

To kickstart the day the inspiring Jan Shutt, Director of North England based shop Sunday Best, www.shop.sundaybestonline.co.uk sat down with Cosmo as we stole the secrets to her shop's success and what she’s on the hunt for this season...

Sunday Best has always had one well-heeled foot on the fashion rung, Jan, the store's director straight away saw the potential in model Agyness Deyn, choosing her to pose for them when she was 15. And Agy wasn't the only famous face to frequent Sunday Best, Henry Holland would come in to dress him mum and aunt at the Rawtenstall shop.

Fast forward a fashionable few years and Sunday Best is sporting a sleek new website to be launched at the end of the month. But not just that, in store a new department is blooming, SB Diversion with a vintage and raw feel to it.

The interior concept is one of authentic beauty, with an industrial feel thanks to old cinema seats, battered factory bells, lights sourced from a gym and bags and scarves thrown into a cradle found in India - all a far cry from the X Factor sets the interior designers are used to building.

When it comes to labels, the store is a juxtaposition of style and substance with Superdry making an appearance next to the gorgeously girlie True Decadence and gothic notes of Religion. Sitting alongside this big names are independent designers found selling on London's Brick Lane.

While her fashion emporium takes a new direction, we were keen to find out what Jan was on the look out for today. "I'm shopping for clothes to season - what's going to go in store right now," she told us. "I'm looking for jewellery and scarves."

Not content with this teasing, we delved deeper, brands Jan has been impressed with include Tutti, beautifully packaged and displayed silver pieces, Big Metal also for jewellery. And for fashion, Oscar that caters for every Cosmo girl's shape, and Jan also pointed us in the direction of Darling with a pretty vintage feel and Love already a concession in Topshop it's sure to make some stylish waves in our wardrobes in the near future...

We're off to hunt out pieces from these labels to share with you, click back soon for an update of our style hunting.

Love Cosmo xx
