Graduate Fashion Week Show
Hot new fashion designers alert! We've just come back from the Graduate Fashion Week catwalk show, where we sat front row (naturally) to watch their amazing collections. These are some hot new names that we will definitely be looking out for next season...
First up was Sara Wadsworth (see pictured) who showcased some sexy sheer numbers to die for this Summer!
Nathalie Tunna showed us girlie pretty pastels with an amazing patent rucksack that is obviously an ongoing trend for next season!
Rebecca Thomson worked a beautiful blouse with an oversized bow neckline, showing a chic workwear look
Rhea Fields collection was fitted and structured suits, which would be sure to cause some serious office envy
Naomi New collection certainly stood out from the crowd with 2 monochrome outfits, the first an all over black studded shoulder detail dress which was would most definitely get you noticed!

Also showing were some other brands that are showing here at Pure London. We loved...
Very - Chic drape leathers in classic blacks and khakis, very Cosmo!
Love Pool - We are in Love with their tie dye sheer kaftan dress perfect for a sexy beach babe look
Full Circle - They opened their collection with a grey and pink printed structured dress, very Alexander McQueen and a grey suited jumpsuit which looked the absolute business!
Right now we're tottering ourselves off to the Accessories area to get our shoes and handbag fix, can we do personal orders please...

Labels we're loving
We've been scouring the stalls here at Pure to find the coolest looks that will hit the high street next season.

Topping the list are:
Freddy's newly created 'slounge' collection (where sport and lounge wear meet) combining fitness, sport luxe and dance glam apparel.
Max C's to-die-for skull studded clutches and totes. We want them now!
Traffic People's floaty Union Jack dresses. Forget Geri Halliwell circa 1997, this is Girl Power for 2011!
Bench's 'Twisted Wonderland' collection featuring edgy photo prints and denim harems - this looks isn't going anywhere!

Young Fashion Catwalk Show

A handful of hot labels have just showcased their wares on the catwalk here at Pure, and we like what we're seeing for next season!
Freddy showed off 80s Americana sportswear and slouchy separates nodding to the utility trend and Iron Fist had plenty of grungy 90s Punk references.
Yumi, as we spotted earlier (see below!), rocked a gorgeous girlie collection that was full of floaty maxis and jumpsuits. Very 70s hippy!
Glamorous lived up to its name - there were gold sequins galore, gorge evening shorts, billowing sleeves and super short shifts.
And Rare (pictured) was equally opulent, showcasing glitzy tops, statement party dresses and jumpsuits as well as stage-worthy hair accessories.
Trend Seminar

ASOS’ Women’s Wear Buyer Jo Hunt and Fashion Buyer UK’s Deputy Editor,
Steve Spear just gave an exciting seminar on the trends to watch out for
this autumn and beyond. Here are a few of their top tips that the
fashion-forward should adopt now!
- Bird motifs are the new animal prints. Especially swallows! Cute
boutique brand Yumi (pictured) is doing it really well. Check them out!
- 1950s style is going to be HUGE, think lady like glamour - kitten
heels and nipped-in waists
- The 1980s love affair isn’t over yet! The next wave of it will
feature black and white photo print jerseys. Very Shoreditch!
- Invest in velvet for day and night. Capes will be everywhere, as will
fake fur and gillets
- Shorts are going nowhere! So recycle your summer pairs for next
season
- The new length for skirts if mid-calf… Eek!
- Layering, especially oversized shirts over little dresses and
shearling will be the way to dress
Roll on autumn!!
